Zadie jumpsuit in double gauze

I made the #zadiejumpsuit, pattern by @paper_theory in a soft, nice, double gauze. I will make more, very comfy!

Alterations:

– Went down 2 sizes, so size 8 at top and size 10 and bottom
– 4 cm swayback adjustment
– All pleats except on the front pants, sewn as darts
– Added 15 cm to the legs and 1 cm to the rise (I am 5’10″/ 178 cm)
– Took in 8 cm total on the bottom of the legs, tapering to nothing at the crotch/ hip

I am pretty impressed with the back view – I always have trouble with fabri pooling on the back thighs, especially with wide leg pants. My first ever succes was the Dawn pants (after extensive alterations, but here I did only the swayback, and the back pants fall so nicely! Love it.

I might add just 1 cm back in the hight of the top, as the shoulders feel just a tad too short – but will try to wear this around first. I am really very happy with this, and think it could look pretty festive in a large flower print in a more shiny fabric. Or just a navy twill version, chambray or rayon/ viscose.
